A 16 year old male who lives in the area of the robbery, has been arrested and charged in the hold up at Monona State Bank on June 8. Police say they tracked him down from evidence recovered a short distance away.
Police are working with investigators in Madison to see if the teen has any connection in the two heists at Associated Bank's West Broadway location that occured June 3 and 6.
Another bank robber with claims of having a bomb. On Saturday, just after 11 a.m., the suspect robbed Monona State Bank, on Bridge Road. He told the teller he had an explosive in his back pack.
The description is similar to the suspect in a robbery on Monday, June 3rd, at the Associated Bank Branch on West Broadway in Madison. Just four days later, two suspects held up that same brach. They also claimed to have a bomb.
