New Mom Upset With Friend Who Banned Breastfeeding At Wedding. Who's Right?

Some couples are very open about their wedding and don't mind if people bring kids while others prefer to set up rules for their special day.

One pair of soon-to-be newlyweds chose to send out a note to new moms invited to the wedding, letting them know that they are sensitive to their need to breastfeed during the event and have even set up a special area for them to do so in the privacy of the ladies room.

It hasn't gone over well.

The note, which explained "we have designated an appropriate place for you to feed your baby so that you do not have to do so in public in front of our family and friends, was posted in a breastfeeding group on Facebook with a caption that reads:

This is disgusting, but unfortunately this is not surprising. It's never okay to expect or demand that a mom breastfeed in a private area. Even if the private area isn't a bathroom nursing nooks/rooms are for the mom and babies comfort not everyone else's. How would you feel if your family and friends knew you breastfed and went out of their way to insist you breastfeed in a bathroom?

Commenters suggested she blow off the wedding even though her husband is the best man. What do you think?
