It's the Stones, MAN!

It's the Stones, MAN!

The Rolling Stones are still capable of surprising us and that's what they did Tuesday night at the second of three shows at the Tokyo Dome in Japan....

With Mick Taylor on guitar, they played "Silver Train" for the first time in 40 years!  The song was originally released on their 1973 album Goats Head Soup, and the only time that they ever performed it live was over four shows in one week in September of 1973.  The song was voted for by fans on RollingStones.com, on the bands official app and on their numerous pages across social media sites.

I dug this video up from when the song was being promoted back in 1973....you gotta love Mick Jagger's BLUE eye shadow...I wonder if it's COVER GIRL?wink
