Gibson.com has made another list (I LOVE THEIR LISTS, can't you tell?) this one happens to be in honor of the best surround-sound albums. They said that all of the following LP's "reveal new details and new perspectives on the material that you simply can't access with a standard stereo mix on two speakers or a pair of earbuds" And they are:
PINK FLOYD - Dark Side Of The Moon
DEREK AND THE DOMINOS - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
DIRE STRAITS - Brothers in Arms
YES - Close to the Edge
FLEETWOOD MAC - Rumours
DREAM THEATER - Dream Theater
STEVEN WILSON - The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)
FOO FIGHTERS - In Your Honor
NINE INCH NAILS - The Downward Spiral
If you are into the surround-sound technology, I would also suggest Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall from PINK FLOYD and another album that is an audible treat for surround sounders is RUSH's Farewell To Kings.
I'm always looking for new albums to try out my sound system on, what would you suggest?
