Bucks lose in heartbreaking fashion

No matter who you were rooting for, it was a game that deserved a better ending.

The Milwaukee Bucks took the upstart Phoenix Suns to overtime Monday night at Fiserv Forum only to lose in overtime 128-127 on a questionable foul call with less than one second remaining in the extra period.

As the Suns’ Devin Booker dribbled toward the Phoenix bench, Milwaukee’s Jrue Holiday briefly lost his balance. When he tried to recover, teammate P.J. Tucker arrived to help jhust as Booker was launching a desperation shot as time ticked down. Tucker's elbow grazed Booker's elbow, resulting in a two-shot foul. Booker hit one free throw, effectively ending the game.

Bucks star and two-time reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 33 points but was sidelined for the majority of overtime with leg cramps.

With the loss, Milwaukee’s eighth in their last 14 games, the Bucks fall to 35-22 on the season. They are next in action Thursday night at home against Philadelphia.
