Cook, Vikings run past Packers 28-22

Green Bay's defense got left out in the cold Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Dalvin Cook shredded the Packers to the tune of 163 rushing yards, 63 receiving yards, three rushing touchdowns, and a receiving touchdown in carrying the struggling Minnesota Vikings to victory.

Minnesota, now 2-5, pulled away in the second half with a pair of Cook touchdowns in the third quarter before Green Bay made a last-ditch rally, including a touchdown toss from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams for the third time in the game and a made two-point conversion. Green Bay's chances ended when Rodgers was sacked on a Hail Mary play to end the game.

Adams finished with seven catches for 53 yards and three scores. Rodgers completed 27 of 41 passes for 293 yards and the trio of touchdowns thrown to Adams.

Green Bay turns around to play San Francisco on Thursday Night Football this week. The Packers are 5-2.
