Colts trade up to draft Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor at #41

J.T. 23 has a new home in the NFL.

Record-setting Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor was drafted #41 overall (in the second round) by the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis traded up from #44 to #41 to grab the Badgers' runner, giving up pick #160 in the process.

Indianapolis signed quarterback Philip Rivers this offseason and now pairs Taylor with running back Marlon Mack to form the core of the new Colts' offense.

Taylor is the first Badgers player off the board. Zack Baun, Quintez Cephus, Tyler Biadasz, and Chris Orr are the other Wisconsin Badgers hopefuls waiting for their names to be called.
