LOS ANGELES (June 18th, 2018) – Craig Ferguson has announced the HOBO FABULOUS TOUR which will take the Grammy® nominated, Emmy® and Peabody® award winning comedian to 45+ shows across the USA and Canada.
“What the world needs now more than ever is an aging unhinged vagrant travelling from place to place ranting nonsense into a microphone,” said Ferguson.
The show, which will be 100% new material, will never be recorded for any form of broadcast or streaming outlet given Mr. Ferguson’s new (ironically) Luddite mistrust of digital technology. The first group of dates are listed below. Additional dates and territories will be announced soon, as the tour will continue well into 2019.
The veteran comedian’s comedy tour kicks off on September 7, 2018 in Denver, CO. Tickets for the HOBO FABULOUS TOUR will go on pre-sale Tuesday, June 19th – Thursday, June 21st. Tickets for the October 29th show at the Barrymore Theatre will go on sale at 9:00 am this Friday, June 22nd at www.TheCraigFergusonShow.com. SiriusXM is the official tour sponsor.
Ferguson is an actor, writer and comedian, who as the host of CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” set all-time viewer records during his ten-year run as host. He earned a Primetime Emmy nomination and in 2009 the Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting for his interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Ferguson was also the host of the syndicated game show, “Celebrity Name Game,” for which he was awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host two years in a row. Ferguson is also an acclaimed standup comedian who has earned two Grammy nominations for Best Comedy Album for his original standup recordings, “Craig Ferguson: Just Being Honest” and “I’m Here to Help.” He has performed to sold out theaters all over the country, including New York City’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. He also received a Grammy nomination for Best Spoken Word for his New York Times bestselling memoir American On Purpose. This summer, Ferguson is filming the movie “Love Me To Death” in his native Scotland alongside Kathie Lee Gifford, who wrote the film. Ferguson recently concluded his wildly popular daily SiriusXM program “The Craig Ferguson Show.”
