Despite a career stretching back 40 years, every time feels like the first time when it comes to Foreigner. Their music is ubiquitous on classic rock radio, and their collection of blockbuster albums has spawned a legion of hits, many of which - from "Hot Blooded" to "Cold as Ice," "I Want to Know What Love Is," and "Juke Box Hero" - have appeared in major films and TV shows and been covered by iconic artists.

As the British-American band's lineup has shifted through the decades, founder Mick Jones has sustained an extraordinarily enduring career, leading Foreigner to become one of the top-selling recording acts of all time. In early 2019, Jones fires up the engines once more and, joined by members new and old, takes to the road on the Cold As Ice winter tour of Canada and the U.S.

The tour comes on the heels of a remarkably busy stretch for Foreigner. In April 2018, the band topped the Billboard Classical Album Chart for the first time with Foreigner With the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, a live recording of the band's first-ever shows backed by a 58-piece orchestra and 60-member choir in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Later that year, Foreigner headlined shows in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, including sold-out appearances at London's Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House. They also starred in a 30-city summer tour with Whitesnake and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening in support.

To top it off, February 2019 saw the premiere of Jukebox Hero, the Musical at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre. Written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the duo responsible for The Commitments film and The Tracey Ullman Show, the musical tells the fictional story of a struggling rust belt town and its famous son through Foreigner's most unforgettable hits. For a band that last penned a new tune in 2009, that's a whole lot of action - which is a testament to the strength and lasting appeal of Foreigner's music.
