(York, PA) -- Work is underway to repair damages caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. Officials say the floodwaters damaged about 80 roads across York County. Some roads like a bridge in Paradise Township had too many holes and cracks that it became impassable. It could take a couple days before the roads are fixed.

(Dauphin County, PA) -- A Dauphin County pumping station is back online after being shut down during Wednesday's storm. Officials say the pumping station in Derry Township was under water Wednesday night, and the storm took out a PPL transformer. The backup generator was working for a few hours, but it shut down. Customers were warned to not to flush toilets while work was underway to get the station back online as officials feared sewage would backup into homes.
>>Two Tornadoes Touched Down In Bucks County
(Bucks County, PA) -- National Weather Service officials are confirming that Bucks County saw two tornadoes during Wednesday's storm. Officials say one EF-One tornado touched down in Buckingham Township, and wind speeds peaked at around 100-miles-per-hour. The other EF-One tornado first touched down in New Jersey and made its way to Bristol in Bucks County, with wind speeds around 90-miles-per-hour.

(Carlisle, PA) -- Pennsylvania State Police are reporting that they arrested a man connected to the overdose death of a Shippensburg University student. Police say social media posts indicated that Angel Rodriguez-Leon sold supposed Percocet pills to the student back in December of 2020. That student then overdosed, and chemical testing found that the pills were actually fentanyl. Rodriguez-Leon was arrested on Saturday, but he posted bail. His preliminary hearing is set for September 13th.

(New Holland, PA) -- Police are launching an investigation after the body of a 65-year-old woman was found in Lancaster County. (Bridgeport, PA) -- Damages are still being assessed from the remnants of Hurricane Ida, but officials are reporting that hundreds of rescues were conducted during the historic storm. Hundreds of those rescues were in Bucks and Montgomery counties alone. Montgomery County officials say they reported multiple deaths and received over 65-hundred emergency calls during Wednesday's storm. Bucks County officials say many people were caught in their cars during the storm, including one 65-year-old man who was stuck in his SUV Wednesday night and died from drowning.

Utility crews continue restoring power to customers who lost service during the storm. Lancaster County Emergency Management officials are asking residents to report all property damage to the agency's website so it can let the federal government know what financial assistance will be needed.

(Lancaster, PA) -- Water levels are receding across central Pennsylvania, and motorists are reminded not to drive through high water. It crested at more than 15-and-a-half feet near Hamburg, almost three-feet above flood stage. Berks County recorded more than seven inches of rain Wednesday, and floodwaters surrounded Reading Area Community College before receding yesterday afternoon. .

(Lancaster, PA) -- Police have attested a teenager in connection with a murder in Lancaster last week. Police say 14-year-old Elijahuwon Ashmeir Brown has been charged with the shooting death of 23-year-old Rolando Rivera on August 27th. Rivera's body was discovered on Third Street, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Police say they have video evidence of Rivera's murder. Brown remains in the Lancaster County Prison with bail.

(Wyomissing, PA) -- Police in Wyomissing have arrested a Berks County man in the fatal shooting of a homeowner during a home burglary two years ago. Police say 33-year-old Jarren Walker has been charged with the murder of 37-year-old Na'il Salamov in May, 2019. Investigators say they used cellphone records that connected a captured signal on Salamov's property to a phone Walker owned. Walker was arrested Wednesday at his workplace in Reading. He's being held in Berks County Prison.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Authorities are investigating what led to the death of a young girl who died on a flight from Afghanistan. Investigators said that the nine-month-old Afghan baby suffered a medical emergency on board the plane before it landed at Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday night. She was rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she died moments after her arrival. An investigation continues surrounding her death.

(Undated) -- Authorities in Montgomery County are investigating three deaths being related to the remnants of Ida. Officials believe that two of the victims drowned while another woman died when a tree fell on her house in Upper Dublin Township. One man also died in Bucks County when his vehicle was trapped in floodwaters. There were more than 450 water rescues in just the past few days in Montgomery County.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Many Philadelphians are still cleaning up from the impacts of Ida. The Schuylkill River made its way into the Manayunk section yesterday morning swallowing cars and spilling into nearby businesses and homes. Flooding caused a two-hour day for the School District of Philadelphia, and students will participate in virtual learning today. There were several reports of water rescues in the Philadelphia suburbs as well. Two reception centers are open at West Philadelphia-and-Roxborough high schools for folks to seek shelter until further notice.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- One major route in Philadelphia is back open this morning. I-76 has reopened in both directions between South Street and I-676. This comes after it was closed most of yesterday due to several inches of rain overtaking the road. Meanwhile, I-676 and Kelly Drive have not reopened.
