2 Wisconsin Destinations Named Among The 'Most Fun Cities In America'

WalletHub compared nearly 200 cities around the country to determine the "most fun cities in America," and while many of the top spots are major tourist destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando and Chicago, plenty of less-visited but equally as interesting locales received a shoutout. In fact, two cities in Wisconsin found a spot on the list:

• No. 39: Milwaukee
• No. 68: Madison

Coming in at No. 39 overall, Milwaukee is not only the "most fun" city in Wisconsin but it's one of the most entertaining in the entire country, earning above average marks in the nightlife & parties and entertainment & recreation categories.

To determine its ranking, WalletHub compared 182 cities across the America using three factors: entertainment & recreation, nightlife & parties and costs. These factors were then evaluated using 65 relevant metrics, including number of attractions, diversity of restaurants, sports venues per capita, movie theaters per capita, ideal weather, amusement parks per capita, bar accessibility, music venues per capita, comedy clubs per capita, average beer price, movie costs, average food price, cost of living and more.
